Bud Broomhead

Bud Broomhead is CEO of Intransa. Mr. Broomhead brings to Intransa two decades of executive experience in the technology sector, leading innovative teams with privately-held startups, mid-range, and large enterprises.

Mr. Broomhead is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, with a degree in Earth Sciences.

Anik Bose

Anik Bose is a seasoned executive with experience in both high technology and biotechnology businesses. He has headed the business development functions at traditional technology companies such as 3Com as well as biotechnology focused companies such as Monsanto. In his business development roles he has managed a $250MM corporate venture fund, spearheaded dozens of venture capital investments and executed numerous spin out transactions as well as several large M&A transactions over $1.2Bn in value. For Monsanto, Mr. Bose developed and implemented global biotech growth strategies targeted towards achieving a significant return on Monsanto's $10 billion of acquisitions. On the traditional technology side, Mr. Bose architected the launch of the fastest growing Asian networking company (H3C), which achieved annual revenues of over $700 million within 36 months of launch.

Mr. Bose is currently the CEO and Founder of Lotus Management Consulting, Inc., a high-technology consulting firm focused on high-value strategic transactions. Most recently he advised and led 3Com's $885MM acquisition of it's joint venture in China with Huawei. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bose served as a Partner in the High Technology Practice of Deloitte Management Consulting in San Francisco.

Mr. Bose holds a MBA from Boston College and BA in Economics from the University of Delhi, India.

Ann M. Carney Nelson

Ann M. Carney Nelson joined Menlo Ventures in 1999 and has been active in a wide range of investments in early-stage infrastructure, software and Internet companies. Currently she represents Menlo Ventures on the board of Intransa and is involved with the firm's investments in DriveCam, Emptoris, Encirq, Neterion, PowerReviews, Rivulet and Tablus. In addition to her investment activites, Ms. Carney Nelson organizes business development programs for the portfolio. These programs include, among others, a periodic seminar series as well as opportunities for portfolio companies to intereact with key decision makes are large public companies.

Ms. Carney Nelson is a graduate of Stanford University (B.S. in Biological Sciences).

Eric J. Rothfus

Eric Rothfus is a managing director and founder of Guggenheim Venture Partners (GVP), a venture capital firm associated with Guggenheim Partners. A highly successful serial entrepreneur, Mr. Rothfus has over 18 years of start-up and operational experience and over 6 years in venture capital. He has founded three successful ventures along with being an early employee in three others.

Prior to GVP Mr. Rothfus was a managing director with TL Ventures investing as part of their Communications and Semiconductor practice. In his most recent start-up prior to TL Ventures, Mr. Rothfus was co-founder and CTO/EVP of Agere, a fabless semiconductor company. Agere developed high-speed, multi-protocol network processors and was acquired by Lucent Technologies for $434 million just 18 months after receiving venture funding. Agere became the network processor division of Lucent Microelectronics, which was subsequently spun out in the fifth largest IPO in US history to form Agere Systems, a market leader in networking and photonics components.

In 2000, Mr. Rothfus was the recipient of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. He holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Paul Matteucci

Prior to joining Intransa investor U. S. Venture Partners, Paul Matteucci was CEO of HearMe, taking that company public in 1998. His two decades of operations experience include eight years with Adaptec, where he was Vice President and General Manager of the SCSI host adapter division. Mr. Matteucci served as a Resident Entrepreneur for Institutional Venture Partners in 1995 and was an advisor to Accel Partners, Redpoint Ventures and Sutter Hill ventures in the 1990s. Mr. Matteucci received an M.B.A. from Stanford University, an M.A. in International Studies from Johns Hopkins and a B.A. from the University of the Pacific. He is currently also on the boards of Trovix, W5 and Homestead, and is a board observer at LV Sensors and Engineered Intelligence.

Amit Srivastava

Amit Srivastava, with over 20 years of venture, consulting and business experience, is the Chief Investment Officer of Entrepia Ventures, a $65 Million venture capital fund that invests in private, technology-based, expansion-stage companies that stand to benefit from market or technology affiliation with Japan. He currently serves on the Boards of 6 U.S.-based venture-backed technology companies in the U.S. and Canada. Previously, at JP Morgan Partners, Mr. Srivastava was the Portfolio Manager of a direct private equity portfolio of over 700 investments with a carried value exceeding $10 Billion as well as led investments and served on the Boards of several companies in India, the U.S. and Israel. Prior to that, he was a Principal at Mercer Management Consulting advising major global IT and communication companies on strategy, business development and operations. His earlier career also includes marketing and engineering management positions at Texas Instruments. Mr. Srivastava holds a BS EE from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, an MS EE from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
