Bud Broomhead
CEO
Bud Broomhead brings to Intransa two decades of executive experience in the technology sector, leading innovative teams with privately-held startups, mid-range, and large enterprises.
Mr. Broomhead most recently was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Topio, Inc. through the acquisition by Network Appliance. Earlier, Mr. Broomhead served as CEO and co-founder of startup IRL Networks after successfully leading New Business Ventures, Network Storage at Sun Microsystems where he targeted new lines of business through mergers & acquisitions. He also was co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of HighGround Systems, a pioneer in Storage Resource Management software, and had been General Manager of Auspex Systems Inc. for EMEA, and held management and leadership roles for HSM vendor Epoch Systems, acquired by EMC.
Mr. Broomhead is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, with a degree in Earth Sciences.

Robert Mally
Vice President, Finance
Robert Mally brings Intransa extensive financial experience, including supply chain, order management, customer service, credit and collections, planning, procurement, and facilities over an eighteen year career.
Prior to Intransa, Mr. Mally was director of finance at Intuit, Inc., and previously served in financial leadership roles at Business Objects and as vice president of finance and senior controller at Looksmart Ltd. Earlier Mr. Mally served at Walt Disney Internet Group, Bertelsmann AG, BMG Direct and Signet Bank.
Mr. Mally earned a BA in Economics at the University of Maryland, and an MBA at Carnegie Mellon University.

Jeff Whitney
Vice President, Marketing
Jeff Whitney has over twenty years in the high tech industry, building, launching and managing new products, services and companies. Responsible for Intransa's global marketing efforts, he is a veteran of both fast growing startups and major, vertically integrated vendors.
Prior to his duties at Intransa, Mr. Whitney was Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Channels for MaXXan Systems. Mr. Whitney was earlier at Spinnaker Networks, where he led channel marketing, prior to the acquisition by Network Appliance. At NetApp, he led the company's iSCSI and FC-SAN channel sales business development programs, and then was promoted to lead Americas channel marketing. Mr. Whitney previously served in Vice President roles for Fujitsu Technology Solutions and HAL Computer Systems, as well as in senior marketing and sales leadership positions with Amdahl Corporation and Antares Technologies.
Mr. Whitney is a Business Administration graduate of St. Lawrence College in Ontario, Canada, and also completed the first eCommerce Management certification program delivered by San Jose State University.

Jonathan Perkins
Vice President, Sales
Experienced sales executive Jonathan Perkins leads the sales organization for Intransa, managing all regional channel sales and system engineering teams worldwide. Joining the company from his most recent role as General Manager of Global Verticals at EMC, Mr. Perkins brings a wealth of successful sales experience garnered in other sales leadership roles with that employer, as well as VP Sales roles for System Management Arts (acquired by EMC), SeeBeyond, and Portal Software. Previously, he served five years in increasingly important sales management roles with Cisco Systems, with a previous successful track record in sales at Attachmate Corporation, Racal-Datacom and the ROLM Company.
Mr. Perkins has a BA from Capital University, Columbus, Ohio.

George Vaiser
Vice President, Video System Applications
Leading Intransa's video system applications program, Mr. Vaiser has extensive experience gained over twenty years successfully opening new sales territories, markets and accounts for early stage growth companies.
Mr. Vaiser was previously Vice President Sales for Intransa, and before that was Vice President, North American Sales at MaXXan Systems, offering secure network storage solutions to enterprise customers. Prior to MaXXan, he ran the west area for grid storage startup Spinnaker Network. After Spinnaker's acquisition by Network Appliance, Mr. Vaiser built a strong business with Fortune 500 enterprise accounts including GM, Nike, Boeing and Motorola in the high performance computing space. Earlier, Mr. Vaiser held senior level sales positions with Array Systems, Copper Mountain Networks, Auspex Systems and Convex Computers.
Mr. Vaiser has an AAS in Computer Science from Union College, New Jersey and a BSBA from the University of Phoenix.

Chris Harvey
Vice President, Customer Satisfaction
Chris Harvey offers twenty-five years of technology and customer support experience to his current assignment with Intransa. He leads the global Intransa StorSupport Customer Satisfaction program and our Technical Support Center organization.
Mr. Harvey joined Intransa from Zazzle.com, where he developed the customer support program. His previous career included twelve years in senior roles building worldwide support organizations and strategies for Auspex Systems, Latitude Communications, Spirent Communications and Qualys Inc. His earlier technical assignments included positions with Bank of America, Pacific Bell and Sperry Univac.
Mr. Harvey holds a BS degree in Management Science, with a Computer Science minor, from the University of San Francisco, and a MBA in Managing Information Systems from Golden Gate University.

Alan Rowe, Chief Technical Officer
Joining Intransa from Network Appliance, Alan Rowe leverages his three decades of engineering experience to set the technology direction for the company as CTO, and leading strategic development for next generation video, consolidation and virtualization products, features and enhancements.
Mr. Rowe began his engineering career at Plessey UK, designing telephone switch software, and later moved to Canada, working on the industry's first digital telephony switch, DMS. He followed that up with nearly two decades at high reliability vendor Tandem Computers. Most recently, Mr. Rowe spent seven years at Network Appliance, building storage systems.
Mr. Rowe received a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Glasgow University, and an M.Sc. from Strathclyde University.

Wing-Yee Au, VP Engineering
Leading Intransa's ongoing engineering, research and development team efforts is Wing Au, joining the company in early 2006.
Mr. Au began his career as a systems design engineer for Amdahl Corporation in Sunnyvale, California, working on mainframe and storage products for several years. Following that, he moved to multi-year storage engineering roles with both Quantum Corporation and Sun Microsystems. Mr. Au later joined 3PARdata in a senior software management role, and then took on a bigger challenge as director, software at Intransa. He was promoted in late 2007 to his current position. A practicing engineer as well as a proven leader, Mr. Au is the author of four US patents.
Mr. Au is a graduate of Stanford University, with a B.Sc. in Computer Science (Honors), B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Honors), and a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, winning several academic awards and scholarships.
