Intransa Selected by Ingram Micro as IP SAN Provider for Asia Pacific

SAN JOSE, Calif. – June 8, 2004

Intransa, a leader in intelligent information storage, delivery, and management over IP, today announced that the leading sales, marketing and logistics company, Ingram Micro (NYSE: IM), has finalized an agreement in its Asia Pacific region to immediately begin distributing the company’s IP SAN IP5000 system. In addition, upon finalizing this distribution agreement, both companies are jointly pursuing eight customers with immediate needs in the region.

“This is another significant milestone in the execution of Intransa’s global expansion strategy. We continue to partner with blue chip distributors like Ingram Micro Asia, whose leadership is unrivaled in terms of reputation, capabilities, scope and infrastructure,” said Udi Paret, VP Global Operations, Intransa. “This move compliments our on-going Asia Pacific activities, including our new office openings in India and China, with the strongest go-to-market network and broadest customer base in the Asia Pacific region.”

“This is a clear case of product, distribution and demand coming together. The Asia Pacific market is ready for IP SAN solutions, and Intransa’s native IP solution provides a very flexible and powerful storage network at a reasonable price point,” said Alain Monie, President, Ingram Micro Asia. “We have no doubts that Intransa’s offering will be the IP SAN solution our customers will want.”

Furthermore, as part of the relationship with Ingram Micro, Intransa will provide marketing and backline technical support for offices in Singapore, India, China, Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, Brunei, and Malaysia, serving the entire Asia Pacific region.

Intransa’s IP SAN IP5000 introduces a sophisticated IntraStor™ architecture and StorControl™ management software that enables customers to easily add storage capacity from 2 to 24 terabytes (TB) and consolidate high volume e-mail and collaborative environments such as Microsoft Exchange, databases, backup and restore applications and other mission-critical data management and disaster recovery applications. The IP SAN provides IT administrators an attractive alternative to expensive Fibre Channel components since the Intransa IP SAN leverages network infrastructures that already exist in the enterprise or data center. The Intransa IP SAN also provides excellent data management and reliability.
