Intransa Appoints Thomas Alexander as President & CEO

SAN JOSE, California - July 11, 2005

Intransa, the global leader in network-centric, enterprise IP-storage systems, today announced the appointment of Thomas Alexander as president and CEO. A seasoned technology executive, Alexander will set the pace for Intransa's next level of growth and build the company's position as a worldwide marketing leader for IP storage area networking (SAN) solutions.

Alexander brings to Intransa nearly two decades of executive experience in the technology sector where he led innovative teams with privately-held startups, mid-range, and large enterprises. Alexander comes to Intransa from U.S. Venture Partners (USVP) where he served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Prior to that he served as president and co-founder of LuxN, a leader in the optical metro networking market, where he led the merger of LuxN with Sorrento Networks.

Alexander holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard, a Master of Science (MS) from Rutgers University, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering from Guindy Engineering College, Madras, India.
