Intransa and Sonasoft Team to Advance Integrated Application Backup and Recovery
Combination of iSCSI Storage System and Point-Click Recovery® to Create Total Protection for Exchange, SQL and Windows Servers

Intransa, the global innovator of network-centric, IP storage solutions, today announced it is teaming with Sonasoft to provide an advanced backup and recovery IP SAN solution. Intransa will be reselling Sonasoft's Sonasafe® suite of software tools which are designed to make “point-and-click” backup and recovery extremely easy through a very intuitive user interface.
“Coupling Intransa's core-to-edge portfolio of IP SAN products and management software with Sonasoft's point-and-click recovery solutions means customers can protect their data with minimal impact to their IP network infrastructure while benefiting from unique combined value-add features,” said Doug Rainbolt, Vice President of Marketing, Intransa.
By joining forces, Intransa can provide its customers with an “integrated” backup and recovery replication solution that leverages its IP SAN technology while utilizing Sonasoft's intuitive, web-based recovery software enabling customers to utilize the same storage platform for their primary and backup data. The combination allows customers to take advantage of Intransa's technological ability to provide different RAID policies within the same IP storage enclosure.
Available immediately, the Intransa Sonasoft solution will be sold worldwide through an Intransa reseller agreement.
