Intransa Unveils Vision for High Capacity, High Performance Growth Markets Plus New Product Line

Announces New StorStac Line, Expanded StorAlliance and StorPartner Programs

SAN JOSE, California — March 05, 2007

Intransa, the global innovator of network-centric IP storage solutions, today announced its new vision that offers increased support of mission-critical applications. With customers worldwide from the mid market through the enterprise, it also introduced its latest, high performance product line and updated two key programs.

In the growing market for IP SAN, Intransa's vision is to allow customers to expand storage performance and capacity independently of one another, recognizing that customer requirements vary and change as organizations evolve and grow. Intransa will focus on building stronger partnerships in several vertical markets where the company already has a large number of customers, partners and alliances. Also announced is its highest-performing IP storage solution yet, the StorStac System.

While Intransa has always been known for easy-to-manage, scalable and affordable IP storage, the StorStac System allows customers with higher performance requirements to aggregate dual inbound 1Gb Ethernet connections into a single, high performance 2GbE pipe. StorStac supports multiple front end controllers, which can be added for increased performance and even higher availability, and with back end enclosures for up to 180TB of RAID storage in a single realm. For application environments such as IPTV, video-on-demand, medical and document imaging and video surveillance where ultra-high performance is needed, a 10GbE version is already in beta test with several customers.

In that manner, customers get the best of the NAS and SAN in a single, cohesive solution.” Regarding the StorPartner program changes, Whitney said, “The updated channel program ensures that our systems integrators and value added resellers around the world are better able to support our most important asset, our mutual customers.”

Intransa StorPartners include European distribution via Zycko in the UK, while Asia-Pacific marketing and development partnerships with IP industry giant Huawei in China are key components of the Intransa StorAlliance program.
