Zycko To Offer Customer Support to All Intransa EMEA Customers

Intransa, the global leader of scalable, network-centric IP storage solutions, today announced an expanded distribution and support agreement with Zycko, a value-added distributor of best-in-class convergent data storage and IP solutions. As part of the expanded agreement Zycko will support Intransa's full line of IP solutions through Zycko's support offerings. Zycko currently distributes Intransa's hardware and software IP products throughout Europe.
Zycko is one of Europe's leading IT distributors with convergent solutions that touch every part of a business' IT infrastructure. Intransa's IP SAN products and the addition of professional services and on-site support, backed by Tier 3 Intransa support, are attractive to Zycko's customer base as further simplifies the adoption of IP SANs in vertical markets throughout Europe. According to Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG), more than 20,000 customers have deployed iSCSI. In a recent study, the analyst firm found that of 500 IT managers surveyed 17 percent are using iSCSI in product environments with 20 percent planning to implement the technology.
