Intransa Named among Best in Show at ISC West
SecurityDreamer Names Intransa IP Storage Among Best Video Surveillance Technologies at Leading Physical Security Event

Intransa Inc., the global leader of shared, scalable and simple external IP storage solutions, was named as one of 32 vendors who received the Best in Show distinction at ISC West. The list, authored by SecurityDreamer, includes the best video surveillance technologies that were on display at ISC West, the physical security industry's premiere event. Intransa is one of the only IP storage companies to make the list. The 32 vendors named by SecurityDreamer included emerging and new technology companies as well as proven, long time industry leaders.
“Companies included on the list are those we felt provided best-in-class technologies to the industry and were pushing it forward,” Steve Hunt, CPP CISSP, founder and CEO of Hunt Business Intelligence said. “Plenty of exhibitors had nice displays and good technologies, but lacked that technological edge which might have gotten them on our list.”
Intransa introduced its latest shared and scalable external IP storage products including a Video Storage Administrator (VSA) toolset, the Edge Block M12 edge storage recording platform and other offerings that support the new M12 module.
Intransa's latest external IP storage products for video were exhibited in a joint booth with VideoProtein/Veracity and IPVS Magazine/Milestone/Axis Communications. Intransa's IP video storage was also on display in the exhibit space of StorAlliance Technology Partners AMAG Technology, Inc., Cisco Systems, Milestone Systems, and JDS Digital Surveillance Systems.
At the show, Intransa announced that 31 new companies have participated or successfully tested products in the Intransa Security-Grade IP Storage Certification Program. Today a more than 40 companies have made the commitment to work with the scalable IP storage vendor through its first-of-its-kind program for the physical security industry. The list also includes those companies who have been certified with Intransa 10GbE storage for IT environments, an extensive list which includes Microsoft Corporation and VMware.
