Company Executives to Present in Several Forums at Security Show

Intransa ISC West conference sessions kickoff Tuesday, March 31, 2009 and include a presentation by Alan Rowe, Intransa CTO, in the Security Industry Associations' New Product Showcase. Intransa StarterBlock is in consideration for an NPS award as a Smart CCTV DVR Upgrade that reduces cost, increases video retention and eliminates the risk of lost video for less than the price of a new DVR. Rowe's presentation begins at 1:47 p.m., room 903, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Las Vegas.
The ISC West exposition begins at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, Dan Dunkel, CEO of New Era Associates, and Intransa Advisory Board member, hosts a panel session in the Dealer/Installer/Technician/Integrator track at 1 p.m., room 201, DI24: Selling Security Convergence - Understanding the Skills Gap. Intransa CEO Bud Broomhead joins Dunkel as a panelist in addition to Kelly Carlberg, physical security worldwide channels, Cisco Systems, and Patrick Reilly, VP worldwide sales, Proximex.
Immediately after the panel, at 2 p.m., room 201, Intransa VP marketing and ASIS International Physical Security Council member Jeff Whitney presents. Whitney will deliver IP02: 1 and Up DVR Upgrades: Leverage Shared IP Storage to Reduce Surveillance Cost While Increasing Retention & Reliability, as part of the IT/IP Convergence track.
In the Intransa booth, 8129, a Smart CCTV DVR Upgrade solution will be available for hands-on review, integrated with an American Dynamics Intellex DVR. Next to it, another display will show how Smart CCTV DVR upgrades provide a migration path to full IP, with an Intransa StarterBlock simultaneously supporting a Pelco DX8100 DVR and a VideoProtein VMS system. A third hands-on display features an All-IP Surveillance Solution, with a StarterBlock integrated with Milestone Systems XProtect Enterprise VMS. All are certified through the StorAlliance program labs for risk-free integration.
