From what was a simple text-only form of internal communications - e-mail has grown to become a mission-critical and storage-intensive application, and at the same time, a challenge for IT organizations worldwide. Intransa is the first and only storage vendor to certify 10Gb IP SAN solutions through the Microsoft Exchange Solution Reviewed Program (ESRP), Version 2.0 for Exchange Server 2007. The StorStac system was extensively and successfully tested at the Microsoft Enterprise Engineering Center (EEC) in Redmond Washington, and delivered an 11,000 user solution for Microsoft Exchange 2007 users. Intransa was also the first Exchange 2007 solution tested to be based exclusively using low cost IP technology and SATA drives, and yet demonstrated it can perform as well as - or better than more complicated and expensive FC SAN and FC-drive based solutions.
