Intransa Smart All-IP Surveillance Solutions
Intransa Smart All-IP Surveillance Solutions meet the needs of new security system deployments, saving money, reducing energy use, and improving quality and reliability for recording and playing back video.
IP Surveillance Doesn't Have to be Complicated
Intransa VideoAppliance™ delivers all the power of IP surveillance, without complexity. There is no longer any need to design, acquire, install, configure, test and integrate commodity hardware with video management software (VMS) system, and then support the result. Instead, a complete video recording, playback and VMS hosting solution for IP surveillance is ready, right out of the box. An Intransa VideoAppliance™ hosts the VMS application, eliminating commodity servers, while providing our patented, video-optimized recording and playback capacity, eliminating commodity storage.
Preloaded with the customer's choice of the industry's leading VMS systems, the installer plugs the appliance into the camera network, enters basic information and the VMS software key, and starts recording.
IP Surveillance Doesn't Have to be Expensive
While video management software and cameras are the most visible components of a modern surveillance system, the storage used for recording and playing back video and the servers used to host the VMS system are the most expensive. Typically more than half the upfront expense of an IP surveillance system, this general purpose, commodity hardware is not designed for video workloads and often results in significant hidden costs and ongoing support headaches.
Intransa VideoAppliance™ eliminates the need for commodity hardware, delivering higher performing, more reliable, video-optimized recording capacity for less money than many inferior solutions. VA systems also shrink the amount of hardware required and space consumed, with advanced video sharing that delivers increased recoding capacity with less storage needed. The result is less expenditure on equipment, support and energy consumption.
IP Surveillance Doesn't Have to be Unreliable
Commodity hardware and storage are the most unreliable components of a video surveillance system. Intended for general purpose IT applications like email and word processing, commodity hardware was never designed for the non-stop, recording-intensive world of video surveillance. That in large part explains why commodity hardware often fails, and further, why the performance of IP systems typically does not live up to expectations and degrades further with time.
Intransa VideoAppliance™ is designed with our patented, video-optimized Video Data Management and Retention (VDMR) technology for superior recording & playback performance and long term reliability. This advanced technology is further supported by superior, OEM-grade designs and hot-swap disk drives and components in each appliance.
