Intransa EdgeBlock Overview
Intransa EdgeBlock™ is a complete, scalable and easy-to-manage Video Data Management and Retention solution. Customers find it ideal as an quick to install, inexpensive "edge" recording platform for video surveillance, without the cost and required IT knowledge of traditional solutions that lack Video Surveillance Optimized (VSOP) architecture.

Intransa EdgeBlock Configurations
EdgeBlock™ Base Systems offer an affordable Video Data Management and Retention platform for a true Security-Grade Video Retention solution. Video Surveillance Optimized (VSOP), EdgeBlock™ base systems are available with as little as 6TB of RAID protected, hot-swap retention capacity. 11.25 and 15TB base configurations are also available; all three are offered in a single, compact and energy efficient 3U (5.25" high) rack mount enclosure.
All EdgeBlock™ systems offer RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10-protection, with hot swap disk drives, power supplies and fans in fault resilient configurations. High Availability configurations add dual, hot-swap data paths.
Storage Expansion Enclosures™ enable additional capacity to be modularly plugged into existing EdgeBlock™ base systems whenever needed, and without re-cabling. EdgeBlocks can expand up to 51TB of total retention capacity by adding a maximum of three Storage Expansion Enclosures™ (SEEs).
