StorStac PerformanceBlock is ideal as the primary platform for video storage needs, including video surveillance, industrial video, digital entertainment distribution, IPTV, Video on Demand, web serving and medical imaging.

Included Software
For video and IT users, StorStac PerformanceBlock systems include all StorStac software. This includes the 4th generation, customer proven StorStac OS with dynamic load balancing and single TCP/IP address, StorStac Manager GUI & integrated CLI with volume management, StorCluster N+1 Active-Active controller failover, StorStac Video Storage Administrator, DynaStac advanced thin provisioning, StorStac Snapshot and StorAR asynchronous replication.
Using the Video Storage Administrator graphical user interface, video users can be set up and running in a few minutes. IT users use the familiar Storage Administrator view.
Reliability and Availability
All major components are field replaceable units, with hot-swap disk drives and global sparing. High availability configurations add hot-swap power supplies, fans, data paths and controllers, without single point of failure.
Low cost M15 configurations feature RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. High performance M12 configurations feature RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10.
